Sarah-
For this group, I had a minor part when putting this together. Our animators, Michelle, Phil and Vicki, spent about 110% their time animating and putting together this video, so I should thank them for that. I was then assigned to research the safety measures and information about cooking with the stove burners. These tips would be selective particularly by each proceeding step and the importance when cooking.
Afterward, I re-visited through the storyboard, making sure they have clarity to each step and as well as no reputation. I also thought about shorten some of the steps or combining them so we could have scene of demonstrate a few of the safety tips as a visual element: for example, we'll have Vicki's character walk away from the stove to tell that is the incorrect thing to do when cooking these types of food.
Again, I felt a little hesitate because I wasn't doing as much as my other group members. However, I was able to find more than enough resources to use in the video so I did accomplish my job assignments as researcher than doing it last minute.
Michelle-
For this group I think that we worked pretty well together. I drew out the story board but we all edited it through text and in person. The only problem with this project that I had was that there wasn't enough work to go around. Victoria and I animated the project while Phil compiled everything into Premier. I really didn't have a lot for Sarah to do afterwords except for managing the blog, helping Phil when needed and then gathering stove safety. Since she didn't know how to animate she couldn't help with that aspect and Phil didn't need any help with Premier. This project would have worked better if there were less people on the teams. There just wasn't enough work to go around.
Vicki-
This group project was a lot of fun for me! It was especially great working with another animator, whereas we pretty much got to collaborate with our animations. Phil worked hard with editing to not only make our video educational (with the help of Sarah and her research), but also enjoyable so that the audience stays interested. I do agree that the group aspect was a little uneasy because some group members had less intensive jobs than the others (it doesn't mean their jobs were less important, they just had less work to do).
Phil-
This group worked well together. It was great to have a group that played off of each other talents. So with Vicki and Michelle both animated the scenes in no time because they had a vision in plan and split the work evenly with each other. Sarah had very clear description of each segment that we went through in the video. Sarah also went through some of the background music choices that I had picked out and help me decided the final decision.
I would have to agree with Michelle in that the amount of work load that was needed to complete the project could have been less. But I think that everybody does something and it also lessens the amount of work load for some of us. So you can dive into what your strength are and help out the team.
